Random Thought

"A rolling stone gathers no moss."

Have you ever stopped to think about what that actually means?

Does that mean we are supposed to be a rolling stone and, in motion, avoid the collection of icky, possibly poisonous, fuzzy, parasitical fungi upon our surfaces?

Or, are we supposed to be a motionless stone, and collect copious amounts of a life-giving, sometimes quite beautiful, essential part of the biosphere?

I guess my basic question is: is the moss good, or bad?
